The 4th of September, designated in the Jewish calendar as “small Yom Kippur,” was proclaimed a day of fast and mourning for the Palestine events, in a joint proclamation of the German Federation of Orthodox Rabbis and the German Mizrachi organization. Contributions toward the Palestine Emergency Fund are to be raised on that day.
