An attempt to break into the home of Dr. Judah Leib Magnes, former Rabbi of Temple Emanu-El, New York, and now Chancellor of the Hebrew University on Mount Scopus, Jerusalem, was made last night by Arab marauders. They were repelled by troops.
Dr. Magnes is now in Switzerland where he went several weeks ago to attend the meeting of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University.
