The first words of Louis Marshall when he came out of the ether following his operation here last week were: “What is the news from Palestine?”
The fact that the first words on the leader’s lips was a question regarding Palstine, became known here today.
Mr. Marshall’s general condition was declared to be good on Monday morning. The lung congestion caused by his lying in bed has improved and he took more food.
