An attempt to spread the ancient accusation of blood libel, adding to the propaganda already spread to stir up fanaticism in the country, was discovered here among a group of Christian boy scouts. The boys were arrested and released upon their parents depositing £150 security for their good behavior in the future.

The boys spread a story that Jews had killed an Arab, concealing the remains on Mount Carmel.
