Arabs Will Offer Proof Transjordanian Tribes Marshalled for Aug. 23

Further proof that the instigators of the Palestine riots endeavored to draw in the Transjordanian Arabs can be furnished by two prominent Arabs of Jericho, who are prepared to give evidence regarding a great movement of Transjordanian Arabs on August 23, the Friday on which the outbreaks began.

Agents of the Supreme Moslem Council are continuing incitement propaganda in Northern Palestine, including the Huleh district, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here is reliably informed. The natives in the region are tranquil thus far.

The French are maintaining strong patrols on the Palestine-Syrian boundary above Metullah. Persons who have no business reasons for crossing the frontier are prevented from doing so. Altogether 400 French troops are patrolling the frontier from Banias to the Sea of Galilee.
