Addresses by Senator William H. King, of Utah, and District Commissioner Sidney F. Taliaferro were a part of the dedication exercises of the new synagogue of the congregation and the Talmud Torah Bnai Israel. The building was purchased from the Iowa Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church.

Senator King eulogized the Jewish race for its achievements and for its successes in every place where its members have gone. He also spoke of the prominent part the Jewish people are playing in Washington and complimented the congregation on its acquisition of the new synagogue.
