Jews Exempt from Turkish Restrictive Order

Turkish subjects belonging to the national minorities are forbidden to leave the city of Constantinople for other towns, even in the adjoining provinces, according to an ordinance issued.

Only Jews are exempt from this restriction, being permitted to travel anywhere.
