Comparative quiet following the anti-Jewish student attacks of the last few days, prevailed at the Hungarian universities since Jewish students remained away from their classes in fear of renewed attacks although they had been promised protection by the authorities.

In the Technical Institute of the Budapest University, 25 Jewish students attempted to enter their classes. They were beaten and thrown out by anti-Semitic students despite warnings against attacks made by the Rector.
