Jewish brains are responsible in a large measure for the upbuilding of present day Russia, declared Leon Moisseiff, one of the leading builders of bridges in America, in an interview with the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
Moisseiff who was forced to leave Russia as a young man, because he was unable to receive a higher education due to his Jewish birth, returned to Russia recently, at the invitation of the Soviet Government to advise it on the best methods of bridge building. Assigned a special train by the Soviet Government, he has just returned to Moscow atfer a three weeks trip throughout the country inspecting bridges.
Anti-Semitism is quite noticeable among the masses, Mr. Moisseiff declared, although leaders are sincere in their fight against its growth. Intermarriage, Mr. Moisseiff stated, is becoming a part of every day life of Russia.
The political question of national minorities is entirely solved in Soviet Russia, Mr. Moisseiff stated.
