An explanation of its stand against the schools of the Bund, Jewish labor party, was made in a statement issued by the Executive of the Polish Zionist Federation. Dissention between the Zionist Executive and the Bund arose out of the Executive’s criticism of the labor party’s negative attitude with regard to the recent Palestine events.

Denying a charge by the Bund that the Executive is boycotting the Jewish schools in Poland, the statement issued declares: “We are not against the Jewish schools, but we are fighting the Bund schools because they give the youth an education which is against the Jewish national ideals.”
