The Daniel Guggenheim Fund for the Promotion of Aeronautics, which will be discontinued next year, will include the granting of a fund of $140,000 to the Library of Congress for a collection of books on aeronautics, and the grant of between $200,000 and $300,000 for an aeronautical engineering school in the South, Harry F. Guggenheim, president of the fund, announced.
An Airship Institute will also be made possible by an appropriation of $250,000, and the institute will be under the direction of the California Institute of Technology.
