Meier Steinbrink, Brooklyn lawyer, was formally designated as spokesman of the Republican party of his borough at a meeting of the executive committee held Monday at the Kings County Republican Committee headquarters, Brooklyn. Mr. Steinbrink replaces Jacob Livingston, former Republican leader, by unanimous vote of the committee.
Mr. Steinbrink, who was admitted to the Bar in 1901, was associated with Charles E. Hughes in the aircraft investigation of 1918 and was the first president of the United Jewish Aid Society. He is a director of the Brooklyn Federation of Charities, a trustee of the Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum, president of Congregation Beth Elohim, and a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
