Dissatisfaction with the delegation of Arabs elected by the Arab Executive to go to London is becoming widespread in Arab circles here. The Arab paper “El Carmel” declares that in the first place the entire delegation is illegal because the Arab Executive has no power to elect. In the second place, after comparing the achievements of the Zionist Organization with those of the Arab Executive over the past 12 years to the detriment of the latter, “El Carmel” suggests that instead of sending a delegation to London, a delegation be chosen to collect funds in Moslem and Arab countries to develop industry.
After accomplishing this, says “El Carmel,” then the “Arab Executive may send a delegation to London and say we are capable of utilizing our lands to help civilization and to build a bridge between the East and the West.”
Sheik El Farouki is also dissatisfied with the composition of the delegation. He feels that those going to London should be good debaters, while the learned sheiks should go to India and other Moslem countries. Farouki’s choice for the London delegation is Mouza Kazim, president of the Arab
