A fight to introduce prohibition in Palestine, Syria and Egypt will soon be begun by American prohibitionists, according to an announcement Monday by Mrs. Ida B. Wise Smith, national vice-president of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. Mrs. Smith announced that she will address a conference of prohibitionists in Jerusalem on March 22. Mrs. Smith has been fighting for prohibition in Iowa during the past half-century.
