The Labor government realizes that the support of Zionism is dangerous to British interests in the Mid-East, declares “Al-Nafir,” a Christian Arabic weekly of Haifa formerly opposed to sending a delegation to London but now favoring it. “Al-Nafir” explains its previous opposition as being due to a belief that the delegation would only conduct propaganda. It now declares itself satisfied that the delegation will negotiate, since the British government is disposed to reopen the question of the Balfour Declaration.
