A huge mass meeting of atheists here last night condemned the reports from abroad that 25 rabbis in Minsk had been executed. The meeting adopted a resolution declaring that “this report was invented to strengthen the anti-Soviet crusade conducted by the Pope and American rabbis.”

Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Bishop Manning, Otto Kahn and William Howard Taft were attacked in today’s Soviet press as being responsible for the anti-Soviet religious campaign in the United States and also for the submission of a petition to President Hoover.
