Jews all over the world will mourn the passing of Lord Balfour, said Louis B. Mayer, vice-president of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Co. today. “As the author of the famous Balfour Declaration he evinced his friendship and admiration for the Jewish people which will always be remembered by them with great affection. He will go down not only in world history but as an important figure in the history of the Jewish people.”
