Moscow (Mar. 28)
Many synagogues that were closed at the height of the anti-religious campaign, will be reopened and returned to the local Jewish communities, the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns. No synagogues are being closed now. The Jewish Communist press still publishes accounts of synagogues being closed, but these reports are old. A conference of young Jewish workers in Moscow today resolved to insist upon the conversion of the famous choral synagogue but the resolution is far from being realized.
