Mrs. Peter J. Schweitzer sailed Friday for Palestine, where she will dedicate the Peter J. Schweitzer Memorial Hospital in Tiberias on May 25th. This will be the fifth modern hospital in Palestine under the direction of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America.
Prior to her sailing Mrs. Schweitzer, who is the president of the Home of the Daughters of Jacob, was the guest of honor at a formal dinner given at the Home. A portrait of Mrs. Schweitzer was presented to the Home and hung in the auditorium, where it was blessed by the old people.
