Father Max Maurenbrechen, once a Radical Socialist, but recently a member of the Volkists, and during the war editor of the “Deutsche Zeitung,” died today. As an anti-Semitic agitator, he zealously spread the legend of Jewish Bolshevism and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Lately he had lived in retirement as a priest in a Thuringian village.
