Forty Jewish women’s organizations were represented either by their presidents or other officers at a meeting at the Hotel Biltmore Thursday afternoon which was addressed by Mrs. Felix M. Warburg, chairman of the Women’s Division of the New York Allied Jewish Campaign.

Mrs. David E. Goldfarb, president of the Federation of Jewish Women’s organizations of Greater New York, who presided, announced that the Federation which consists of one hundred and sixty organizations, with a membership of ninety thousand had endorsed the campaign and pledged its cooperation to the Women’s Division.

Among the speakers were Mrs. Moses Hyamson and Mrs. Anna Moskowitz Kross, the latter representing Hadassah. All of the women present pledged themselves and their organizations to render service in the campaign. Reports of contributions obtained by them and their organizations will be rendered at a meeting of the Federation of Jewish Women’s organizations on the 21st of this month.

Jonah J. Goldstein, who was sent to Palestine by the Palestine Emergency Fund committee shortly after the August uprising to organize the relief of the Jewish victims, made an appeal for cooperation with the campaign over Station WPCH last night.
