A serious crisis exists in the principality of Liechtenstein as a result of the marriage of Prince Francis I, the ruler of the principality, to a Jewess, Frau Elsa von Eroes nee Baroness Guttman of Vienna, according to editorials in the “Sportmontag.” The paper says that the Catholic population of the country is extremely dissatisfied and that political agitators are creating enormous difficulties for the Liechtenstein dynasty. The “Sportmontag” reports that the situation is so serious that a revolution may break out as a result of Prince Francis’ union with a Jewess.
