Jewish Physician and Bride Leave for Tropical Trip

Download PDF for this date

Dr. Morton C. Kahn, who is a member of the faculty of Cornell University Medical College, and his bride, who was the former Ruth D. Ring, sailed Friday for Paramaribo, Dutch Guiana, where Dr. Kahn will lead the Myron I. Granger expedition for the American Museum of Natural History. This trip is being arranged with the cooperation of Dr. Clark Wissler, curator of anthropology of the American Museum of Natural History.

This is Mrs. Kahn’s first exploration trip to the tropics, but Dr. Kahn who has made eight trips, four of them to the Dutch Guiana, believes that the perils of the jungle have been greatly exaggerated, and sees no reason why a healthy normal girl cannot get the full benefits of such adventure.
