King Carol today assured a deputation of the Roumanian Jewish Parliamentary Club that he received in an audience to accept congratulations on his accession to the throne that anti-Semitic declarations in the country would be discontinued, according to a Bucharest dispatch to the Vienna “Freie Presse”.
On the other hand, “Pester Lloyd” states that King Carol, in replying to the Jewish parliamentarians’ complaints regarding the continued anti-Semitic agitation, appealed for more patience because he himself has determined to solve the Jewish problem shortly in a radical fashion.
