A report of the activities of the Ica-Joint Foundation during the past year, telling of the sums expended by this organization for loans for Jewish cooperatives in thirteen European countries, was presented at yesterday’s opening session of the Ica-Joint Foundation conference, which was presided over by d’Avigdor Goldsmid of England.

The report stated that the Jewish cooperatives in Poland with the help of the Foundation last year issued 335,000 loans, which together totalled $47,000,000. The Foundation itself has a capital of $3,000,000 and resources totalling $10,000,000. An additional $40,000 for credit purposes in Eastern Europe, outside of Poland, was assigned by the conference. Delegates from Poland, Lithuania and Roumania are participating in the conference.
