Tel Aviv’s Birth Rate Up, Death Rate Decreases

A marked increase in the birth rate and a parallel decrease in the death rate was recorded in Tel Aviv for the year ending September, 1929, according to figures just made public. During that year there were 1,909 births and 623 deaths, as compared with 1,740 births and 580 deaths in the preceding year.
