The Jewish workers of the United States who have been supporting the Geverkshaften Campaign for the Organized Jewish Workers in Palestine will send a large delegation to the first International Congress for the Jewish Workers in Palestine, which is to take place in mid-September of this year in Europe. At a general meeting of the National Labor Committe for the Organized Jewish Workers in Palestine which was held this week at the Pennsylvania Hotel, the following delegation was elected: Abraham Shiplacoff, Joseph Schlossberg, Morris Finestone, Meyer Brown, Chaim Greenberg, A. Hamlin and Lea Brown. Benjamin Schlesinger, president of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union, who was unanimously elected a member of the delegation, sent a message in which he assured the meeting of his interest in the labor movement of Palestine and promised to visit Palestine as soon as his health would permit.

The American members will also visit Palestine before participating in the Congress. Most of the members will sail from here on August 2 directly for Palestine.
