Time and Place of Zionist Congress to Be Settled at Council Meeting in Berlin

The time and place of the forthcoming seventeenth world Zionist Congress will be settled at the Zionist General Council meeting which opens in Berlin August 24, it was announced today by the Zionist Executive in releasing the provisional agenda for the Congress.

The Congress will open with an address on the political situation by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization and of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. This will be followed by reports on Palestine by Dr. Arthur Ruppin, on the Jewish National Fund by M. M. Ussishkin and by Dr. Arthur Hantke on the Keren Hayesod. A member of the Palestine Zionist Executive will report on the budget and economic questions and other questions of the organization will also be discussed.
