A ten per cent increase in the amount of money ex pended to aid Jewish families in the city is noted in the July report of the United Jewish Charities issued today. The unprecedented demand for relief, the highest since the foundation of the organization, is due to the depression which has hit Massachusetts with particular severity, officials claim.
