Download PDF for this date

The cornerstone was laid today for the first Jewish colony established in Palestine this year. The colony, which is called Beith Hanan, is near Ness Ziona. The 35 Bulgarian Jewish families who are the first settlers are being provided with $2,000 each by the Keren Hayesod and the Jewish National Fund is furnishing the land.
