The appointment of an Arab as High Commissioner of Palestine is demanded by the Arab paper, “Jamal El Arabia,” the organ of the Grand Mufti. Criticizing what it terms the “superfluous moderation of the Arab Executive,” the paper also demands that in the future all laws be issued in the name of the Arab people and not in the name of the English King.
