Many Jewish shops were looted and then demolished in the course of the labor riots here yesterday during which scores of people were injured and several killed in clashes with the police. While it is not yet known whether the damage to Jewish property was of a deliberate anti-Semitic nature the property loss is so large that the authorities have been informed.
