The extension program of the National Council of Jewish Women to be pursued this Fall, according to Miss Gertrude Feibleman, national chairman of its Department of Extension and Field Service, will concentrate upon enabling states that have no Council Sections, to organize them in their principal cities. These states include Mississippi, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada and New Mexico.
In addition to this plan, the Council’s Department of Extension and Field Service will be engaged in organizing Council Sections in various cities that are not yet linked with the national organization in its program of international, national and local work in the fields of education, civic work, social service and religious activities. Existing Council Sections are launching a campaign to enroll the women in their communities in the local section and to obtain their cooperation in the accomplishment of their program.
