Haifa-bagdad Railway and Mosul Pipe Line to Cost $100,000,000

The proposed Haifa-Bagdad railway, the plans for which have been officially approved by the British government, together with the Mosul pipe line, which will carry the oil from the Mosul oil fields in Iraq to an as yet undetermined Mediterranean port, will cost $100,000,000, according to the estimates of Egyptian engineers who have been working on the plans.

The Haifa-Bagdad Railway will be a link in the projected direct rail connection between Egypt and British India by way of Haifa.
