Over 1,200 attended a mass meeting held at the Mishkan Tefila school house in Roxbury to signify their indignation at Britain’s White Paper on Palestine. The meeting was held under the auspices of Poale Zion. The speakers included Berl Locker, national secretary of Poale Zion, Isaac Hamlin, secretary of the National Labor Committee, and Hon. Elihu D. Stone of the Administrative Committee of the Zionist Organization. Philip Potash presided.
