Warning the students against permitting themselves to be utilized by politicians and agitators in the organization of street demonstrations, particularly those of an anti-Semitic nature, Prof. Nicholas Jorga, rector of the University of Bucharest, opened the new college year today in the presence of Premier Mironescu and other leading government officials.

Recalling that last year was the first after the War in which there were no anti-Semitic troubles in the Roumanian universities, Professor Jorga catgorically declared that so long as he remain the head of the University excesses will never occur. He assured the students that all those participating in any sort of political demonstrations will be immediately expelled.
