The New York Guild for the Jewish Blind has just apprised city officials of its intention to erect a modern home, school and infirmary on about 11 acres of land it acquired in 1928 on the Saw Mill River Parkway here.

This was disclosed in connection with a formal application for tax exemption on the property, which is assessed at $47,600, and which cost the guild $54,500. The Guild has its present home on St. John’s Avenue, carried on the tax exempt list for $87,900.
