The first good-will dinner ever held in this city, will take place November 24, under the auspices of Barnet Temple Brotherhood. Each member of the Brotherhood will be asked to bring at least one Gentile friend. There will be a prominent speaker to represent each of the three predominant faiths. Harry B. Haines, editor of the Paterson Evening News will be toastmaster. M. Metz Cohn, president of the Brotherhood, heads the committee in charge of arrangements.
In Elizabeth, next Thursday night, there will be a community good-will rally under the auspices of the Elizabeth Section of the National Council of Jewish Women and the Council of Jewish Juniors. Dr. Sidney E. Goldstein, associate rabbi of the Free Synagogue of New York, will be the principal speaker.
