A campaign to raise $50,000 to relieve the local Y. M.-Y. W. H. A. from its financial difficulties, will be launched here Monday, December 1st, to last for one week, according to a decision of the board of trustees, now made public. Nat Kent will be general chairman of the campaign and A. H. Slater heads the executive committee.

In making public the drive plans, Philip Dimond, president of the “Y” who also heads the New Jersey Federation of Y. M.-Y. W. H. A.’s, declared: “Conditions in the “Y”, caused by lack of funds, have placed the institution in a position where a campaign to raise the quota of $50,000 is inevitable; otherwise the activities would have to be curtailed or the institution forced to close its doors.”
