Acting on the proposal of Dr. Wolfgang von Weisl on behalf of the suspended Hebrew newspaper, Doar Hayom, Issa Elissa, publisher of the Arab paper, Falastin, today agreed to a joint Arab-Jewish publishers conference regarding the government’s press restrictions and especially the pending press law.

The Doar Hayom and the Falastin were both recently suspended for printing inciting news reports.
