Hundreds of Jewish timber workers are proceeding this week for work in Russia, becauses of the unemployment due to the tremendous crisis in the timber industry here, it was announced here today.
These workers are proceeding under contract with the famous London Jewish industrialists, Lipman & Schalit, who signed an agreement with the Soviet government, monopolizing the entire Soviet timber export for 1931.
