Zionist Congress Opens in Old Roumania; Greet King Carol

The Zionist Congress for the district of “Old Roumania’ opened here today in Barascheun hall. Adolf Bernhardt, member of the Council of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, presided. There were a hundred delegates and numerous guests.

Dr. Bauer, representing Jugoslavia, proposed sending a telegram of greetings to Foreign Minister Marincovitch of his country. Dr. Meyer Ebner brought greetings on the part of the Bucovinian Zionists. A telegram on behalf of the Congress was sent to King Carol.
