Orthodox Jewry of Montreal is now preparing to celebrate the jubilee of Rabbi Jehudah Rosenberg, prominent Orthodox leader of this city, who has now reached the age of 70.
Rabbi Rosenberg was born in Poland, being a descendant of the famous Rabbi Jehudah Ha-Chassid. He was ordained in the rabbinate by the three greatest scholars of the period, Rabbi Schneuer Zalmen of Lublin, Rabbi Yechiel Meyer Halevy of Ostrovtza and Rabbi Zanvil Klepfish of Warsaw.
