The World Conference of the Mizrachi Organisation which was to have been opened in Danzing on June 21st., will not be held there but in Switzerland, says a cable message which has been received by the Polish Mizrachi from the Mizrachi Head Office in Jerusalem. The change has been made on the demand of the Polish Mizrachi, whose President, ex-Deputy Farbstein, had cabled to the Mizrachi headquarters in Jerusalem that if the Conference was held in Danzing the Polish Mizrachi would not be able to take part in the proceedings, in view of the frequent attacks made by Hitlerists on Polish Jews in Danzig.
