The preparation of Volume Five of the Golden Book of the Jewish National Fund has been started. Mr. Hermann Struck, the well known artist, has undertaken the supervision of the new Volume, and Mr. Struck, Dr. Saul Tchernichovsky, the Hebrew poet, and Mr. S. A. Van Vriesland, Dutch Consul-General in Palestine, will constitute the jury for awarding a prize for the best competitive design for the cover.

The Jewish National Fund reports its receipt of a donation from an elderly Christian lady, who had intended to visit Palestine, but finding this impossible decided to contribute the amount which her visit would have cost to the upbuilding of the Jewish National Home. Recognising that land is the first essential, she sent the contribution to the Jewish National Fund.
