CLEVELAND (Jul. 7)
Julius Feiss, Jewish clothing manufacturer and former president of the Cleveland Federation of Jewish Charities, died suddenly yesterday at the age of 82. Mr. Feiss, who was chairman of the board of the Joseph & Feiss Company and a pioneer in the men’s clothing industry in Cleveland, was one of the founders of the Federation of Jewish Charities, a predecessor of the Jewish Welfare Federation. He was also interested in the upbuilding of Cleveland’s parks, and thirty-five years ago he was one of the organizers of the Park Commission.
