Download PDF for this date

When the S. S. Vulcania sailed yesterday for Italy six of its passengers were the American boys hailed as the most intelligent in the United States as the result of a test conducted among 100,000 boys by the Central Press Association. Two of these six bright youngsters were Jews, David Englander of Brooklyn and Benedict Goldman of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

The six boys will make a three weeks’ tour of Italy as the guests of the Italian government’s tourist bureau.
