Sir Herbert Samuel and Lord Reading: No Changes in Government Contemplated at Present Says Report: B

I was assured to-day that no changes in the personnel of the Government are contemplated at present, a Special Correspondent writes in the “Evening News” to-night.

When the proper time comes, he adds, however, the Cabinet will go to Parliament with tariff proposals. In that case Mr. Snowden and Sir Herbert Samuel will resign, and Mr. Snowden will probably go to the House of Lords. Their places in the Government will be filled by Mr. Neville Chamberlain and Sir John Simon.
