The Prime Minister, Dr. Bruening, (who has been rumoured to be negotiating with the Hitlerists with a view to including their representatives in a Coalition Government) speaking at the meeting of the Centre Party Executive Council, said that he fully endorsed the statement made by the Party leader, the Prelate Kaas, that there could be no possibility of a coalition between the Centre Party and the Hitlerists. There is no room in German polities for such political experiments, he declared.
A formal resolution presented to the meeting by the Prelate Kaas, committing the Centre Party to oppose any coalition with the Nazis was adopted by the meeting.
