General Smuts Says He Cannot Attend to Matter Until He is Back in South Africa

General Smuts, former South African Prime Minister, and leader of the South African Party, who is at present in London, has replied to a request from the Jewish Telegraphic Agency for his views on Dr. Malan’s statement, in a letter to the editor in the course of which he writes that “owing to pressure on my time and also for other reasons, I cannot attend to the matter until I am back in South Africa”.
